Volunteers can facilitate conversation classes by organizing discussion circles, games and interactive activities. They can also accompany tours encouraging language use, gently correct pronunciation, and create themed events for cultural exchange. These actions make the hostel environment more dynamic, help guests practice languages naturally, and stimulate interaction at the hostel.

It was a fine experience. Lucas is a good guy open to talk. Sometimes he seems to forget that your shift doesn't get extended just because there aren't enough volunteers to give a hand, so it's just about reminding that to him or come to an agreement. Also, clear communication would be ideal. If you have a WhatsApp group use it instead of texting each one separately.

Lucas opened his hostels' doors even if I didn't speak portuguese and I didn't had experience with housekeeping as a volunteer before. He is flexible and very responsive.

Thank you, Brian. Your visit was very special, and I can say that your coming was already predestined by God to help us. I am immensely grateful for the work you did for our home. I have no words to thank you.

O hostel 🫶⭐️ my second home! In the heart of the historic center of São Lui, host Lucas, a wonderful divo! The guests, the crew, in short, everything connects well. You're going to love it.

My stay was very pleasant; the people were very kind and friendly. My work was really great and enriching, as it allowed me to apply and improve my drawing and painting skills. I also learned a little about the culture of São Luís.
