From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by everyone. The team and the guests were incredibly friendly, always eager to help each other and share good moments together. There's a sense of community at the hostel that makes it feel like home. Aden was amazing to work with. Super easygoing, approachable, and supportive throughout my stay. He truly creates a great environment for everyone. The location is a big plus! In the heart of Santa the hostel, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rio. It's close to a subway station, and there are plenty of cool spots to explore during free time.

The hostel welcomed me with open arms and it was a very positive experience. The hostel is in a great location, and Manu is very nice, flexible, and helpful. I met a lot of cool people, who made my trip an even better experience. ❤️ I also can't forget Guima, who is a sweetheart and makes you feel even more at home. <3

I don’t think I could have chosen another hostel to have my first volunteer experience. I loved every moment of this season, but above all, the people I met. The hostel staff ended up becoming a family to me, and it’s even strange because I’m leaving home to go back home. I carry with me many lessons, stories, and people who made this experience so special. I’m sure it’s not a goodbye. I will still go back to the hostel. ❤️

My days at the hostel were wonderful, it was my first volunteering experience; I was very warmly welcomed by the volunteers who were there, I felt at home. I will miss the place, the people who live there and especially Guima. Manu was respectful, helpful, and welcoming. The samba that takes place on Saturdays is wonderful, I also overcame the fear I had of speaking English, I hope to come back one day :(
