I loved Berat and the volunteering experience!! The work was very straightforward and not overly demanding. The housing for volunteers was very nice. I had a lot of fun here and would definitely recommend to others!

Berat is a beautiful place. The experience was really good, it was our first volunteering and we were taught everything we needed, sometimes we even got to leave early. The stuff was really nice, specially Kejsi, we felt really welcome by everyone and had loads of fun. Everyday was dance and laughter. The only thing that took us a back a little bit was the mistreatment we felt from Eni from time to time. When communicating some times she was rude, sarcastic and even shouted. Taking that aside the experience was 10/10 beautiful place and beautiful people. Definitely recommend 💕

Thank you for your opinion. Just to clarify, reminding you about your responsibilities or asking about why are you leaving a few days earlier than the agreed end date without letting us know isn’t meant to be rude, but simply expecting people to respect their commitments and keep things clear and organized. ♥️

I had a great experience volunteering in the hostel, the hostel and the hostel. The people were really nice and warm, the work wasn't hard, the hostels were beautiful and the tour they organized was really fun. The only thing I would say to improve is that the first day they just show us one of the three hostels so then when we had to work on the others hostels we didn't know where to find the things we needed, and Eni was a bit rude when she talked to me. The rest of the people were very lovely, especially Kejsi.

Thank you for your opinion. WOW, what an experience. This place has taught me so much not only about my self but the world around me. There have been a few challenges, but through each and everyone of them, the people around help you to succeed. Berat is such a beautiful town and safe to say I will definitely be returning. Miri and Eni have been amazing as well as the other volunteers who have been by my side along this whole experience making it my highlight. Only point I would like to share for future volunteers is that training isn't as in depth as other workplaces - grasp your problem solving skills. DO IT ❤️

Whew what a dream! What was supposed to be 3 weeks, turned into 6. Berat is a place you can make feel like home if you choose. From the staff at restaurants, to the man who runs the market at the bottom of the hill, to the housekeeping ladies at the hostels. All will welcome you and make you feel remembered & cared for. The hostels each offer something unique, but in the end they will all bring you new friends & memories. What you put into the experience is what you will take from it! Special mention to Miri, Eni, Soni & Helin.. ily
