I had a great time at Pousada de the inn. Mara welcomed me with kindness and I felt at home from the first day. The three dogs are adorable, and walking with them was a lovely extra part of this volunteering. The work was easy: helping with breakfast, cleaning rooms, and keeping common areas clean. The schedule (6 a.m. to 11 a.m.) gave me a lot of free time to enjoy the pool, go to the beach, or explore the area by foot or bike. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a real volunteering experience in Brazil, with a friendly host who also teaches you Portuguese. Obrigada Mara !

The experience at the pousada was calm and pleasant. The tasks were simple, cleaning the rooms and helping with breakfast for the guests, among others. Mara made us feel very welcome and also showed us around the area. We were also able to discover and enjoy the surrounding area on our own thanks to the time we had available.

My experience was positive because I got along very well with Mara and the other volunteers. I would have liked to stay for the entire scheduled time, but due to work I had to leave earlier. I spoke with Mara and we resolved the situation without problems. The place is very peaceful and far from big cities, ideal for those seeking a connection with nature. Those were the most special nights of my life under the stars and the moon. This volunteering experience was a great challenge for me, as I am very attached to the comforts of the city, and this disconnection made me reflect. Thank you for the experience.
