Garrett and Jean were fantastic hosts! I had a wonderful time connecting with other volunteers and locals. The work hours were fully respected, and the work was pretty chill. It's an ideal spot if you love the beach and surfing. Plus, the train to nearby towns like Toucheng and Yilan is quick and cheap, which is perfect for exploring on days off. Highly recommend this experience!

I highly recommendddddd!!!! This has been one of my favourite world packers yet! Garrett and Jean are such a lovely couple who truly have your best wishes at heart and are so much fun to spend time with. My time at the hostel has introduced me to so many wonderful people and life long friendships. The vibes at this place are unmatched! the work is chill, the food is great, the surf is good and the hikes are beautiful. So grateful to be a part of the hostel community! See you next time 🌊🌀

This was an amazing experience. Garrett and Jean were amazing hosts. The place was beautiful, lots of surfing, lots of amazing food. And you actually get the chance to share with locals and learn about Taiwan. I came with no expectations and I left surprised and completely grateful about everything I experienced. the hostel is just amazing, amazing place, people and vibe. Completely recommend it. Cons: too much good food and too much beach and too much fun. maybe you can get tired of it.

My time at the hostel was so special! The hosts Jean & Garret are lovely people & they have created such a nice place for backpackers to come and feel at home, the work is very chill and simple and with the other volunteers it felt like working with one big family! I hope I can return soon one day, I miss it already ❤️
