Personally I had a great time! I got along with everyone and was able to connect with the people and make some real friendships. The place and its surroudings are truly beautiful. There is a waterfall in which we went swimming, we went hiking and there are a lot of beautiful villages and ruins to visit. It's a great space to relax and connect with the nature. The work can be exhausting at times but with the other volunteers it's always fun and the tasks were quite simple. The work hours are great and definitely fair. It's a really interesting project and I learned a lot :)

The host kicked me out without notice or choice for comunication, he showed a callous disregard for my safety and other volunteers. Fortunately the place is beautiful and my colleagues had my back

Let me tell you that you did not have an adequate attitude because there was no sign of you accepting any criticism at all. Besides not collaborating with the common tasks. Your answer was that you had done everything perfectly and a piercing look that scared us (me and Ricardo).

Still, instead of telling you to leave at the moment using your own means, someone came to the town and you were paid for one night in a hotel.

When you were told that you had to leave, your response was that you had no money at all nor anyone who could lend it to you, neither family nor friends. I doubt that's the case since 70 euros is something everyone has, no matter how bad their economic situation is.

From this situation I take that it's better to set boundaries beforehand in similar circumstances, that we should have spoken with the rest of the volunteers in front of us besides Ricardo and me, that I acted impulsively taking the decision on my own instead of reaching a consensus with Ricardo (although he agreed).

I hope you also learn something and that you do very well in life.

And yes, I went from Reggio Calabria to Milan for free haha.

Alright, take care.

My experience in the community was very enriching, both personally and professionally. I arrived with an open mind, not knowing exactly what I would find, and I discovered new ways of living, relating to others, and understanding different perspectives. Beyond the tasks performed, I take with me valuable human and personal lessons and a deep gratitude for the welcome received. Without a doubt, I will return as a better version of myself. From the bottom of my heart, I hope this project continues to grow and continues to attract people aligned with their values, fostering genuine and authentic connections. Gratitude!

¡Gracias!
