I had such a wonderful experience volunteering in Fjæra! The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, and it's the perfect place to slow down, disconnect from the hustle and bustle, and reconnect with nature. Kristian was a fantastic host — friendly, welcoming, and always easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed my time here and feel lucky to have experienced such a beautiful part of Norway. I had a great experience! Kristian has built something really special in Fjæra, and it was truly a privilege to help bring his vision to life. Additionally, Kristian is a very generous and considerate host. The work is simple and enjoyable, there is plenty of downtime, and you are surrounded by some truly majestic Norwegian nature. If you are looking for excitement and action this may not be the spot for you, as this is in a small remote village. But if you are looking to take life slow, appreciate the local nature, and chill out this is your spot!

This is a beautiful little place located between mountains , fjords and riversides! The working Staff who's working there for several years now, are respectful and professional in their approach to volunteers. The work/working hours can be better organised.Kristian the owner is easy to talk to & professional ,together you find suitable solutions. It's a place for nature lovers, great for hiking, Via Ferrata. All together a great experience! ✨

My stay in Fjaera has been phenomenal! Kristian it's an amazing host , respectful and funny. I had the opportunity to learn many new skills and be in contact with nature! The place I slept it's a caravan and was all I need to be comfortable! The structure you will work is fantastic and I had my best time enjoying the sauna . I will definitely do it again and advise it to new volunteers :)
