I had a great time volunteering at Boris'. He is a very welcoming, warm, and funny host. I was a bit nervous before coming as I had never had any renovation experience, but the work was actually really enjoyable and Boris was very encouraging even if you found something a bit difficult. The hours were really fair, and we had lots of free time in the days. On the days off, Boris drove us to some gorgeous hikes and we watched some films or played cards in the evenings. I had such a great time here and Boris was very accommodating with me wanting to improve my French. I had a really great time!!

A place for people who value connection, learning and good moments. What made this experience special was Boris's genuine care in bringing everyone together. From shared meals and sunsets to lake swims, bike rides to La Bourboule and movie nights, I made lovely memories with him, Jerónimo, Jin and Inês. Boris is really thoughtful, from respecting working hours to providing electric bikes that give volunteers the freedom to explore. It makes a big difference! I'm grateful for everything I learned, the friendships I made and the kindness I received. Merci, Boris, et à bientôt! ❤️

I had an unforgettable two weeks here! We worked and ate together every day, shared food from our countries, played card games, watched movies, talked and laughed a lot. Boris is kind, fun, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We worked about 4 hours in the morning and had the afternoons free. On our days off, Boris took us to see beautiful villages, waterfalls, lakes and volcanic landscapes. I loved sitting on the grass in front of the house, watching the red sunsets and night sky. It felt like home, and we became real friends. My best volunteering experience! ❤️❤️

It was my first worldpackers experience, but I cannot be happier. I found myself in a beautiful and rich environment, where i could immerse in nature, in the local culture, but also in new relations with fantastic people coming from all over the world. The host is funny and clear, the work-life balance is really good, everything is decided in advance and there's a lot of free time. I could practice english and french and explore the nature of this beautiful region. In the last few days the atmosphere changed a little bit due to some misunderstandings but I really recommend the experience.

I had three wonderful weeks in France with Boris, all his friends, and the other volunteers I got to know. We had so much fun together. While I was there, we set up the kitchen - it was great to see the progress. In the afternoons, Boris often took us to La Bourboule or to the lake. Another plus are the e-bikes and the beautiful area for hiking. Each volunteer cooked a traditional dish from their own country. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who's open to meeting new people and learning about new cultures. Thank you so much, 👑 Boris!
