The Experience

Do you want to help us out with projects on a biologic dynamic farm? There is a lot of different tasks to do at the farm! In the summer we are mostly picking the fruits, sometimes we weed or do other tasks inbetween of the picking. In the spring and autumn there are other tasks: building, weeding, planting, seeding, pruning etc.

It was my best experience on an organic farm. I learned a lot about the management of berries, such as biological pest control and harvesting. The diversity of volunteers that arrived at the farm allowed me to improve my English skills, and I made good friends. There are beautiful places, like lakes, farms, and a river, close to the farm that we visited. Willemien is a good leader and a kind person. She always cares about the volunteers and organizes social events.

This was an amazing experience! The daily routine was pretty chill, and I genuinely enjoyed working outside and feeling connected to nature. The host was incredibly responsive, understanding, and kind to everyone. We often had small get-togethers, shared our meals, and made great memories as a group. If you are looking for a place to feel truly welcomed and want to meet international travelers, this is the perfect spot!

My experience at the farm was great! I met so many amazing people that I won't forget easily. Willemien is an amazing host, who explains everything well and tries to make everyone feel welcome.

The work was not difficult and the working hours were well respected. The countryside around the farm is beautiful and calm. The caravans are nice and cozy but it is definetely important to be prepared for the camping conditions.

Overall, I would definetely recommend this experience! Thank you for everything Willemien!

Staying at Fruitweelde was such a wonderful experience. The working hours and daily tasks were enjoyable, relaxed, and never felt overwhelming. Willemien is an incredible host and such an admirable woman 🫡❤️ I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy connecting with people, having unforgettable experiences, being close to nature, and getting a taste of farm life. Fruitweelde and the other volunteers truly captured my heart, and I would absolutely come back someday. :) Thank you for everything, W. ❤️‍🔥
