It was a very family-like experience to share time and activities with Nao, Vero, Lucho, and the community. Although I applied to learn how to cook and hadn't learned much because the position wasn't updated, I stayed for the atmosphere and the community's delicious seasoning.
Thanks, because even so I learned things about how a large-scale kitchen works, I had fun, I saw waterfalls, I learned to fish, I laughed a lot, I learned to grate coconut... All in all.
My best wishes always for the community 💖💖

If you're looking for an authentic experience in Colombia's Pacific region, this volunteer program is an excellent choice. The community and its family welcome you with incredible hospitality and make you feel part of their home from day one. It is an ideal experience for those who enjoy teamwork, are willing to learn, and want to know up close the culture, the traditions, and the pace of life of the Pacific. Here, the exchange is genuine: you collaborate with the family while sharing conversations, learnings, and moments you will hardly forget.

The Loma de Yanensy is more than a place; it's like a home, you are welcomed with open arms and the food is delicious, I was able to disconnect from the noise of the city and meet wonderful people. The tasks are simple and the schedules are always respected; they also give us discounts on whale-watching tours and other activities. I highly recommend bringing plenty of insect repellent, snacks, sweets, and a good book. If what you're looking for is a quiet, family-friendly place with tasty food, this is the place for you. Finally I thank the community for their kindness, to the whole family and to the volunteers ❤️

A volunteering experience full of beautiful experiences, delicious food, an incredible culture, kind, enthusiastic, and beautiful people. The welcoming place, each day was an unforgettable experience, the beaches, the landscapes. This place is magical and Mrs. Yane, the best host, the little animals of the place Cody, Tony, the kittens, I felt them as part of the family—the community. I will always carry this place in my heart, it gave me more than just a volunteering experience, I take away a lot of love and a beautiful energy❤️❤️❤️❤️

The experience in the community was something that will stay in my heart forever. Being my first volunteering experience, I arrived a bit nervous, but from the first moment all the people welcomed me with a lot of good energy and warmth. They welcome you as one of them and you learn everything about their culture. I only have words of gratitude for the delicious food, for those landscapes that made me fall even more in love with the Pacific and for the beautiful Kody, for his loyalty.🐶 I am leaving with unforgettable memories, valuable learning experiences, and the desire to someday return.
