The Experience

Namaste! I'm Dipak, and I'm learning German (currently B1 level). I'm looking for volunteers who'd enjoy practicing language exchange with me and my family during their stay. In return for helping us with German (or English) conversation practice, you'll experience real Nepali village life — home-cooked meals, farm activities, and time with a warm, welcoming family in Dhulabari, Jhapa. No teaching experience needed.

Unexpected the farm at the farm! the farm, it was so nice to meet you. I didn't plan to come to Jhapa—especially not to your the farm—but somehow we met, and in such a short time, I felt like part of your family. We shared so many incredible stories and meaningful experiences, and I learned a lot from you. I highly recommend this place to anyone who truly wants to experience local Nepali 🇳🇵 life and the farm with a warm, welcoming family. Thank you for your kind hospitality and all the love. Hope to see you again!

Me and my partner had a good time at the farm's. The highlight of our the farm was participating in Dashain festival where we truly felt like locals and integrated in the traditions. The tasks were not quite the one announced : we mostly cut grass, helped around the house and helped for international projects. The tea garden and river were very nice spots to walk around and the food was delicious ! I recommend for living the Nepalese style surrounded by kind people (family and neighbours). Also loved the dances with everyone :)

Stayed 7 days at the farm's home in Nepal via Worldpackers. 🏡 His family and neighbors were kind, especially his younger sister 😊, but the farm was mostly absent and didn't engage. 😕 No farm, no tasks — just sitting at home all day, very boring. 😔 Booked for 21 days but left early. He asked for money for groceries (not forced), I gave ₹1000, but food wasn't good. 🍛 Got a deep finger cut 🩸, paid hospital bill myself — yet the farm asked for money for fast food after that. 😞 Not a real volunteering experience. Not recommended. 👎

Because of little bit financially problem brother,I didn't force but I said that if you are interested only in that case,I ask it.You came in off season so that there no any farm work but there is cow fielding and cutting grass work are still there brother. I know it is my lack that I am not that much closer with you because you don't have anything interesting behaviour so that but also brother sorry for that . Thanks for your feedback I will try to improve it.
