Katya and Luis are good hosts and I really enjoyed my stay on the farm. There is a good variation in the work and it is fun to do!

It was my first experience living and working on a rural and (almost) self-sufficient farm and I learned a lot- from growing lettuce in a hydroponic system, construction, harvesting honey, taking care of the animals and more. The work could sometimes be difficult in the hot sun or pouring rain, but it gives you the real idea of the farm life. Katya and Luis were great hosts and have big plans for the future! It was a lot of fun also getting to know the animals and see two goat births while there! Chiloe is also a beautiful place to explore on your days off.

I enjoyed my experience here a lot! You feel like you're completely surrounded in nature, in a secluded part of the world. We did something different everyday, but be prepared for repetitive work! However, being out in the fresh air, no matter the job is a great way to spend your morning. Katya and Flaca(the baby goat) were lovely and shared their home with us, and cooked delicious meals! Be prepared for lots of cold and rain, in the winter months but you only work half the day and then the rest was free to explore and relax. Definitely would recommend!

It is awesome! There are a bunch of animals, very cool sustainable farming, tree cabin where you sleep, Katia and Luis are great people with a lot to share and teach, she also is a chef so the food is really good! There is also work like construction and lumber harvesting! Have fun, great experience!
