Our days at the host en the host were incredible. It's a beautiful place full of magic and peace—the perfect spot to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with nature. Throughout this area of the Caribbean, you'll have the opportunity to go on hikes to explore wonderful places, experience the local culture, and discover rich flora and fauna. Kary and Nhung were always extremely kind, attentive, and helpful, constantly making sure we were comfortable and guiding us with any questions about the area.

I loved the experience! Kary and Nhung are very calm and helpful people. the host is a beautiful place where you can do many activities, and they gave us information so we could make the most of the area and explore the surroundings. Keep in mind that it is a very remote location, so unexpected situations can happen. We didn't have electricity in the volunteer house, which was quite uncomfortable; however, we talked to Kary about it, and she looked for ways to improve our experience. As for work shifts, they are quite flexible and the tasks to be done are clear. Keep in mind that the host Agu

As our first Worldpackers experience we were so happy. It's extremely remote with so much proximity to nature. The accommodation really suited us, we loved how basic it was but it needs to be said that if you are expecting luxury this might not be the place for you! Occasionally problems arose with wifi/power/water but they were resolved quickly and are understandable considering the location. We were able to contribute in ways that were meaningful and individual to our skills. If you volunteer here, please feed the cat! We are so grateful for this experience, thank you Kary and Nhung

We applied through Worldpackers, excited by photos and communication with the host. However, the volunteer accommodation was nothing like shown. We were placed in a rundown, unsanitary structure- surrounded by trash, with no cleaning supplies, termite droppings in the kitchen, a rotting fridge storing dry food. Bathrooms were filthy, some rooms had no electricity, and doors or windows were missing. The focus was clearly preparing for future guests, not supporting volunteers. We were expected to clean and fix things ourselves. After raising concerns we left early for our wellbeing.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback—it truly helped us grow. We’re sorry your stay didn’t reflect our standards. Since your visit, we’ve made big improvements to volunteer spaces, including deep cleaning, repairs, and better maintenance systems. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back to experience how much we’ve improved. Luiz and Kush were wonderful—professional, kind, and full of potential.

An incredible experience at the host! Kery & Nhung are very nice and flexible hosts. The place is exceptional, in the heart of nature, rejuvenating and educational. We live with nature; the sea and the tropical forest surround you, an abundance of fruits, foot-accessible hikes, a superb volunteers' house. There may be outages and other natural hazards, but it's a learning experience, and it's a story of community. We are all under the same banner, locals and tourists. I recommend this place more than anything; it's so charming. The three weeks flew by at a speed... :)
