The Experience

Our natural garden is a refuge for various plants and animals. Your task would be to help maintain this garden and create additional habitats. Fruits and plants from the garden will be harvested and processed, and I need your help with this. The animals residing here value your care, gentle strokes, and also appreciate cleanliness. Would you like to be able to create your own medicine cabinet from nature? I'd be happy to show you how!

The farm made me feel so welcome from day one and truly made Germany feel like home! We shared nice conversations, explored nearby towns together, and saying goodbye at the train station was genuinely emotional. Her daughter was also super sweet and welcoming (and they have great cats!). The work was very fair and manageable, mostly helping in the garden and picking currants. The town is beautiful with great hiking! If you're looking for genuine connections, kindness, and a wonderful host, I highly recommend staying with the farm. Thank you for everything 💛 I'll always cherish these memories!

During my stay here, I was immediately welcomed into the house and I felt very relaxed. the farm and her daughter made my stay very enjoyable. The tasks that I had to carry out included de-weeding the garden, picking out herbs, painting the walls, cleaning the coop, and some general cleaning. I learned a lot about plants and herbs and im glad the farm passed her knowledge onto me ☺️Would recommend if you like the countryside and hiking as the area is perfect for hikes.

The farm is a wonderful woman and it was a pleasure to spend time with her. I felt at home, her animals are so friendly and her land is beautiful. I enjoyed working in the garden and around the pond on different projects. the farm is an intelligent woman with a lot of knowledge on plants and herbs and how to use them as medicine. I feel very inspired to incorporate my new knowledge of herbal medicine into my own life. Thank you for providing me with such a blissful experience! I would recommend this to people who enjoy learning about plants and immersing in the small village lifestyle and culture

My stay at the farm's was a truly memorable experience. Besides from being a overall wonderful person, the farm consistently went above and beyond to ensure we could explore and experience as much as possible during our time there. Thanks to her efforts, we visited many beautiful and fascinating places and cities in the surrounding area. In addition to the travel experiences, the work itself was incredibly rewarding. We learned a great deal about plants and gained valuable insights into living a more sustainable lifestyle.

My experience with the farm was fantastic! It was my first time with Worldpackers and I couldn't be more grateful. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the calmness of a beautiful village, its nature and to meet wonderful people of the community. I discovered and learnt so many things and I can't wait to visit them again; I found a family in Upper Franconia! the farm respected working hours and she was flexible with them, making sure I was always comfortable. She was was very nice and took me every time at the train station, allowing me to visit nearby cities. We also took trips togheter:)
