Highly recommended!\nHowever, as I always say, you have to enjoy hiking, hard work, and having a lot of responsibilities in the office. The satisfaction you get as a volunteer comes from supporting the education of vulnerable kids in Guatemala.\nI learned so much, professionally and personally, had a lot of fun, and discovered new places and wonderful people. The organization is exceptionally well organized and transparent, which makes the experience even better. So, if you love mountains, hiking, and supporting a good cause, this is the place for you!

What a ride! I spent 4.5 months at QT! It can hardly be put into words just how fulfilling it is to be part of this project. The team, the communal work and daily life, the amazing treks, the city and all it has to offer. Joining QT definitely means you have an intense time coming up. It's not a easy-peasy volunteering gig you'll be doing for a little while - and the min. 3 months already express that. But if you are up for dedicating yourself to this cause for a while, you will be rewarded in innumerable ways. You can make a real contribution here, and will never run out of things to learn.

If you're looking for a volunteer experience that blends purpose, adventure, and growth — this is it. I spent 4½ months with QT guiding treks, updating systems, supporting social media and photography, and organizing the gear room. It's not a plug-and-play role: you're given real responsibility, and the learning curve is steep — but worth it. Expect to be challenged and supported in equal measure. QT's mentorship, wellness check-ins, and team-driven culture help you grow as a guide, a communicator, and a teammate. The best part? The people — passionate, chaotic, kind, and unforgettable.
