My experience at the hostel was incredible! It was my first time in Taiwan, and I couldn't have picked a better place to call home for a few weeks. Alan is a wonderful host who makes you feel welcome and sometimes even brings food and snacks during shifts. The tasks are simple, and the hostel is magical at night when the crowds disappear. There's so much nature and so many villages to explore nearby, and transportation is easy. The hostel isn't super social, so you'll have plenty of time for yourself and to hang out with the other volunteers. Highly recommend!!

The hostel is a beautiful place. After working for four hours each day, I can wander around and explore. I often get to chat with the backpackers visiting here, and we even go hiking or exploring the surroundings together. It's been a really cool experience!

I had an amazing volunteering experience and truly enjoyed my time there. the hostel is such a beautiful place, the views are absolutely breathtaking, there are plenty of scenic hikes nearby, and it has a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I also really enjoyed working with Alan. He is very organized, and the whole system for managing tasks and keeping everything in order is incredibly well thought out and easy to follow. Everything is clear from the beginning, which makes the volunteering experience smooth and enjoyable.
