This was my first volunteering experience and it was very relaxed. The 5 hours of work per day depend on how many guests are staying at the hostel — meaning how many rooms need to be cleaned or organized — but in any case, it never goes beyond 5 hours. Work usually starts around 10 or 11 a.m., so there's plenty of free time in the afternoon to explore or do your own thing. I didn't have much interaction with the hostel managers, apart from 2 or 3 short encounters, but Cris is super welcoming and has a great vibe. I recommend this place if you're looking for a volunteering opportunity that g

Arrival was lovely from the start, and I met Nathan, the other volunteer, a great person. Then I met the full team who have been very pleasant and explained everything about how it works; it's exactly as they describe in their description and they keep to what was agreed, moreover they are flexible and with a nice energy. Max the receptionist is super clear and organized; he gives all the little details you need to enjoy the city. The hostel is clean, pretty and well located. This is my first volunteering in Chile and it has been a wonderful experience, I recommend it 100%. I appreciate you sharing.

The hostel team deserves a 1000/10. I was very warmly welcomed from day one. Work hours are respected, the accommodation is comfortable, and the tasks are completely doable.

Max, Evelyn, and Stefany are people who are very committed to their work, attentive and responsible. I will be forever grateful for all the kindness and the welcome they gave me.

The hostel is located facing the beach, and Coquimbo is an amazing city. It's a volunteer experience that really is worth getting to know. I would highly recommend it!

My experience was good, I had no problems with anyone or anything. I enjoyed sharing with other volunteers, and with guests from other nationalities. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. Regarding washing clothes, I would have liked if a day was organized once a week so that the volunteers could wash, since someone asked and they told us yes, that they would notify us later, and they didn't notify, and I had to keep asking every now and then, and that was tedious. But apart from that, an experience I would repeat 🩵

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a perfect 10. The vibe is super friendly, the location is ideal, the hostel is beautiful, and the facilities are comfortable. There's always someone on hand if you need anything during your work, and they strive to make you feel at ease; it's a great team. It is especially safe for women. You meet travelers from all over the world; it's great if you're looking for cultural exchange. I recommend volunteering here and I would definitely return 🩷 Grateful for this wonderful experience
