Deborah was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome from the beginning! She is a very giving person who let us use her vehicle and helped us experience the charm of Trabuco like a local. We were allowed to be flexible with our hours, for example we took a day off to go into the homeand we made up the hours during the remainder of the week. We helped her with some daily chores of picking up dog poo, watering the garden, then also building a new vegetable garden. The pool to cool off in the afternoon after work was also a bonus!

Deborah was so lovely to volunteer for! Tessa and I were treated to a festival on the weekend that we arrived, and Deborah helped make sure we got to experience it the way locals do. Her dogs were lovely, we helped build a garden, and her neighbours were also very friendly and sociable. Deborah has a heart of gold and I definitely recommend volunteering here!

This was my first ever Worldpackers experience and I am so glad I went with Deborah. Her kindness and generosity makes for a very welcoming household to volunteer at. The working hours are well-respected and I felt a perfect balance between work and downtime. The area is stunning, with the homeviews and olive trees everywhere. The town itself seemed to always have something on, such as the Feria. It was a pleasant surprise to find so much to do in such a small town. Highly recommended and I hope to do this experience again in the future 👍

Staying with Deborah was one of the highlights of my travels. She is warm, welcoming, and made me feel at home from day one. The work was fair, varied, well organised, and communication was always easy. Deborah has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I learned so much from our conversations. I especially loved spending time with her sweet dogs, who completely stole my heart! I left with wonderful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend staying with her.
Thank you, Deborah, Bo, Buddy, Bianca and darling Betty 🤍I can't wait to visit again soon! Home-away-from-home.

This is your sign to choose this option for volunteering!! Staying at Deborah’s is a dream come true. Not exaggerating. Beautiful home, beautiful dogs (trained), beautiful host, beautiful experience. Deb is very flexible and her goal is for everyone to make the best of their experiences. As long as you do what she nicely asks you to, this will be like a second home to you. These last 3 weeks have been the highlight of my year! 10/10!!

Please feel free to message me privately if you have any questions!
