It was a pleasure to volunteer at the hostel for a month. It was my first experience as a volunteer, and I felt very comfortable throughout the entire time, especially thanks to the staff and Bajo, who is the owner of the hostel. The work is quite simple and involves general cleaning and simple tasks at the reception, 5 hours and 30 minutes a day, and nothing too demanding. I'm grateful for the opportunity and recommend it to everyone who wants to get to know Sarandë!

My experience as a volunteer at this hostel was truly amazing. The hostel was always clean and well-maintained, and the team was very friendly, supportive, and united, which created a great atmosphere every day. The work was easy and well organized, leaving plenty of free time to explore the city and visit nearby places. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the beach. I'm very grateful for the opportunity and all the people I met during my stay. I highly recommend this hostel to both travelers and volunteers looking for a welcoming and enjoyable experience.

Work is chill and the hostel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Those were my favorite parts! Not sure if it's because I was the only volunteer at the time (september) but the instructions sometimes came after I had already executed the tasks. I also had some issues with a roommate but Bajo was open to listen to my complaint and let me switch rooms. If you have any issues don't hesitate to talk to him. Overall I'd say it was a good experience if you want to explore this part of Albania!

His was my first volunteering experience! Bajo was very welcoming and made me feel completely at ease. Obad, the manager who runs the hostel, organized all the daily tasks extremely well and was super understanding and flexible. I also met other volunteers who helped me get the hang of the routine and settle in quickly. Overall, it was a great experience to get used to the volunteering flow.

This is a great opportunity to travel in and around the hostel, know new people from all around the world, know more about hostel management and keeping, go to the beach as much as you want and practice your English. Bajo, the co-owner and person in charge of the hostel, is very kind, relaxed, and respectful. If you need something just let him know. You'll be doing a range of hostel keeping chores (cleaning the whole hostel, changing, washing, ironing and storing sheets, checking people in and out), other than that you can make of this experience what you want from it.
