I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first volunteering experience. Mayra is an amazing person; she welcomes you with arms wide open and from the very first moment I already felt like part of the family.

We traveled to a town with a beautiful bridge and also to the Quetzal Biotope. It was an incredible experience, because I reconnected with nature in a very special way.

The kids are amazing, always kind and fun. I'm going to miss them a lot.

I would recommend this volunteering program a million times. Thank you for making me part of your family; you truly gave me a heartwarming hug.

My time with this family was unique and special. As soon as I arrived, Mayra treated me like family. She and her children are kind, generous, and authentic. Although my Spanish isn't perfect, the jokes and conversations were easy and an opportunity to learn. They taught me more Spanish in two weeks than in my four years at university. I will always be grateful for my time here.

Excellent, we help with family tasks and we learn a bit about Guatemalan culture. I highly recommend doing this volunteer work if you enjoy a peaceful village atmosphere and immersing yourself in the local culture 😄

Éstos días con la casa han sido muy tranquilos y me encantó poder ayudar tanto en el negocio familiar cómo en tareas del hogar, si vuelvo a Cubulco no dudaré en volver.
