"Bella stagione" for us is the beautiful season from March to October! In our farm is a busy and vibrant time: every activity is going to grow until summer and then it will become slow and slow until the relax of the winter days...but before we have to harvest grapes and olives! We offer accommodation in tents, giving you the chance to fully experience farm life and at the same time, enjoy everything the beautiful city of Florence has to offer!

My stay at Cuore Verde was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Not only was everyone kind and welcoming, but the animals were a delight and I learned a great deal about sustainable farming. We enjoyed amazing Italian cuisine made by Marco on our working days and spend our free time in Florence or enjoying the sun on the farm. There are several day trips easily accessible from Florence as well, the only slight downside was that the bus stops running quite early, but that can be planned around. Overall this was an experience that I will cherish forever

Marco is a very kind and flexible host and he makes really good food. He was very welcoming to everyone and made sure we had everything we needed. The experience was really nice, I liked learning to take care of the plants and animals. I think my favorite part was getting to meet locals and other volunteers from different countries.

I had the best time at Cuore Verde for my first volunteering experience! Marco and the other farm workers were very kind and accommodating. The volunteer work was fair and manageable, and I learned a lot about sustainable farming. Delicious Italian lunches were always waiting for us after work and were accompanied by great conversation at the table. In the afternoons and on free days, there was plenty of time to go to the city or relax on the farm. Sharing part of the stay with five other volunteers made it even more fun and rewarding. Overall, I would definitely recommend Cuore Verde :)

Amazing experience! I learned about farm work, connected with nature and had really fun time with other voluenteers. I also got a lot of time to explore the city. Marco and his workers are very kind and helpful and made the experience safe and great.

Marco is an amazing host with a lot of knowledge to pass to others. I had an amazing time on his farm - the landscape, Marco, other volunteers and employers created an one in a Lifetime experience for me. The communication of task was sometimes not specific enough, but it is something you can really get around. I cant recommend this experience enough!!
