Kadar is such a magical place to reconnect with your inner self and enjoy a unique experience surrounded by nature. Virginia is an amazing host who makes you feel at home right away, and the food is delicious. Make sure to take some time to explore the lake and nearby villages like Soneja and Sot de Ferrer, where you’ll discover lots of local charm and talent. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

I did my first volunteering at Kadar (which, by the way, means 'Destino'), and it couldn't have been more fitting. I had a lot of fun, I also learned, I improved my health and habits by connecting with nature, and above all: I connected with other volunteers who broadened my mind, awareness and heart. Thank you Kadar for bringing us together and for having us! I had a lot of fun, with the team and with Ekko, the place's dog. A hug, Virginia!

My first experience at the volunteer center, and wow, what an experience! I loved every day, although there was a lot of work and at times I had to push myself harder, everything felt necessary. Sarah, Nadia, Luz, and Virginia truly are precious people and having received the opportunity to work with them delighted me. Recommendation for volunteers: 1. Play a lot with Ekko. He is a dog with a lot of energy and is playful. 2. If you have the opportunity to cook with Thais, don’t miss it. It’s a whole experience; you learn and have nice conversations. Use sunscreen!

My first volunteering experience in Europe could not have been better. Virginia is an incredible, respectful, and welcoming host. The tasks were well organized and my boundaries were always respected. I learned about nature, spirituality, and local culture, as well as meeting wonderful people from the area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the food excellent. I especially recommend the walks with Ekko to the lagoon. One thing to note is that internet connectivity can be limited for online work.
