The Experience

We’ll be happy to welcome you to our charming hotel, nestled among the hills with stunning views, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy 🇮🇹🌿. We're looking for someone to help us with room cleaning 🧹 and, if necessary, with cleaning the restaurant. In return, you'll have a room just for yourself and access to a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals, or on days the restaurant is open, the chef will prepare your meal 🍝🫶.

I had a wonderful three weeks at the hotel, but I wish I could have stayed longer. The property is located in the beautiful hills of Fortunago, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The work was fair and fun, and I learned so much from it. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming from day one - I was immediately at ease. Thank you Pris, Ale, Sara, Angela, Manu, Lucia, Giulio, Max, Oscar and Elena! Hope we meet again soon, in Fortunago or Milan🥰🥰

I don't know how to sum up my experience at the hotel; maybe the translation of the name is the closest thing to it: 'Light'. One month turned into two, then three. Ale, Pri (te extrañare), Manu, Sara, Lucia, Giulio, Oscar and Elena are truly wonderful people in the most beautiful way possible, and I can't thank them enough for making me feel at home and part of the family. I can say that my time here provided me not only with a lovely (and beautiful) environment, but was crucial to my healing process. I will be eternally grateful to everyone and hope one day to return to Fortunago. Truly recommend

This was a really nice project and I would recommend it. The people were very kind and welcoming and they always made sure that everyone felt comfortable and had everything they needed.
The tasks were manageable and well organized. We never had to work more than the agreed hours. The food was delicious and the accommodation was excellent.
The only small downside is that the project is quite remote and the bus connections are not the best. Overall, I had a great time and would happily recommend this project to future volunteers.

We really enjoyed the project at the hotel. We had a nice room and felt very comfortable during our stay. For nature lovers this place is an absolute dream. Everyone was very open and friendly although some people only spoke Italian and not English. Nevertheless it was still possible to communicate with each other more or less. The food was delicious and we always had everything we needed. The pool can be used when there are no hotel guests staying at the property. One thing to note: make sure to check the exact location of the hotel as it is not where it is indicated online. Thank you!
