Staying in the hostel was truly an incredible experience. The host made me feel completely at home comfortable, welcome, and always cheerful. The tasks are very clear, and Moises who is the host is the kindest, funniest and most respectful person I have ever met. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and I felt like part of a family from the very beginning. The location is also perfect, close to everything you need and in a beautiful area I would highly recommend this place to any volunteer looking for a meaningful and enjoyable experience. This was my first volunteering and was such an amazing experience! Moisés is very organized with a ultra positive attitude, he and everyone in the guest house made us feel like home. The place is cozy and the island is beautiful, without a doubt the best volunteering! 🙌

My experience at Casa Universo has been incredible!! The work is very light; there really is very little to do in the day, and it doesn't feel heavy at all, the facilities are clean and comfortable, there is a kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, there are lockers to store belongings, everything is very nice and pleasant. Moi, the host, is very kind; there has always been good communication with him, so there was never any detail. And well, the hostel simply is a wonderful place, watching the sunset daily from the beach will always be a good plan. Thank you Moi.

Clean and quiet place. I highly recommend the place; the schedules are respected and they are easy to work with. The tasks are simple. The island is small, so walking to the beach is fun because you pass through the town center and you can see life on the island. I would definitely come back.

My volunteering at the hostel was an incredible and very special experience. From day one. Moi is an amazing host: He really gets involved with the volunteers, listens, accompanies, and makes you feel at home. We connected very well, and you can feel the affection he has for the place and for the people who arrive. We were able to create content for the hostel and get to know the island in depth. The hostel is a unique place, with the beach minutes away from anywhere. Without a doubt, the hostel is a magical space and Moi is one of the best hosts I have known 💛 Just bring lots of insect repellent!!
