You will have the opportunity to help us promote our events and make our guests feel at home here at Aqua Lounge. You will promote our events via tasks including hosting our welcome drink (where you meet all new guests and give them information on our hostel and island), handing out flyers in our island town, etc. You will also assist with our events by coordinating games like beer pong and chess, help with decorations, etc.

My experience at the hostel was amazing! There's usually a total of 4 volunteers which is just enough for the workload. The work is very easygoing and enjoyable. Galen and Martina were amazing and much fun themselves! The room did have AC which was nice, the bathroom is cleaned once a week however I had to go into the hostel and ask for toilet paper for everyone most of the time, and we there is a small kitchen. You get to join the Sunday beach tour which is really fun for everyone and always a great day, Sunday and Monday are the two longest work days, but still not bad. Overall it's great! Thx!

If you're looking for a short stay with a party focused volunteer experience this might be okay for you. However, the accommodation is nothing like what they show. The volunteer room that they show is the men's room. The room designated for the women volunteering there is in pretty bad shape. The shared bathroom is hazardous with black mold covering half of the room. They did eventually clean it but with bleach. Overall, I do not think this is suitable for any person. When I told them I would be leaving early, they offered me a guest room, but they have no intentions to fix the rooms.

The job itself is really fun, it's just interacting with guests and making sure they are enjoying their time. The host Galen was a great guy. I enjoyed my fellow volunteers a lot. However the accommodation we were put in to start was unlivable. The volunteer dorm and bathroom was just gross. After further discussion with the host we were moved to a much better room. I think this place is fun and worth volunteering at.

El hostel es una familia enorme compuesta por todo su maravilloso personal y no puedo estar más contenta de haber decidido voluntariar allí. Las tareas son súper sencillas y divertidas y el horario es bastante reducido. Para mi ha sido un lugar que he sentido como si fuera mi casa. Me he sentido súper cuidada y atendida, y sí, el lugar es precioso, pero lo que realmente te enamora es toda la gente que conoces allí. Recomiendo plenamente este voluntariado! La encargada de los voluntarios, Martina, es una persona increíble a la que le puedes comunicar cualquier situación y ella estará ahí para ti <3

Mi experiencia en el hostel longue ha sido maravillosa, es un sitio super bonito, con la posibilidad de hacer un muchas actividades, como surf, buceo, snorkel, padelsurf, asi como ver muchisimas playas preciosas. La cantidad de trabajo en el voluntariado es muy baja y sencilla. Teniendo bastante tiempo libre para poder disfrutar del lugar. Las instalaciones del hostel son buenas, en la casa de los voluntarios compartes habitaciones con 3-4 personas y cocina con los demás chicos, la cocina no es la mejor pero sigue siendo funcional. La isla cuenta con la posibilidad de salir bastante de fiesta. La g
