I really enjoyed this experience, but I don't think it's for everyone Honestly, the host is super friendly and supportive, and the work is really easy, so you finish quickly and have plenty of free time. The place is beautiful, but the lifestyle is quite rustic. For example, you have to shower using a bucket of water, which wasn't a problem for me, but might not be for everyone. The location is also something to consider. It's in a small village, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so I highly recommend renting a scooter. I rented one from the host for 60,000 IDR per day, which is

Anton made my volunteering experience in Taro much easier and more enjoyable. He is a very friendly, thoughtful, and supportive person, and it was truly a pleasure getting to know and spend time with him. He was always kind and helpful, and even helped me learn a bit with his bike, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for volunteering.

I had an amazing experience in Taro☀️ Anton was a great host, very flexible and mindful. I helped with social media and work schedule was light and manageable. I got lucky enough to see an elephant among other animals that the forest and village has. Also, I had the honor to get invited to a local ceremony. The person that owns the land took me to his family and I got dressed in traditional Balinese clothes. I genuinely felt included while they were explaining their culture and traditions. Thank you Anton for being who you are and for introducing Bali's culture to me. 🫶🏻🍀
