The Experience

Our family of 3 are renovating our new home and preparing the site to move our existing tiny house on site. This project will suit someone with building, carpentry or other trade skills, or an interest in learning. Pavel is very handy and can teach you skills you may be interested in learning. Located close to Fremantle WA you'll love the beaches and lifestyle here. It is an easy ride to South Beach and has good public transport access.

I received a very warm welcome from the small family of three. The atmosphere was generally harmonious. The caravan in the courtyard provided me with private, clean, and warm accommodation where I felt very comfortable. Pavel tailored the work to each person's abilities – there was plenty to do, so it was never monotonous or boring. They both genuinely cared about the well-being of there gueests and offered tips for activities in the area. Whenever their schedules allowed, they joined or made it just possible. With Querida's agreement, I even spontaneously extended my stay in the end :)

My second volunteering experience was truly enriching. The family was friendly, passionate, and always willing to teach me new skills. The tasks were well-explained and the workload was reasonable. There was a good balance between volunteering work and the free time which allowed me to explore the surrounding areas. Fremantle was only 20 minutes away by bus, so it was easy to go to the markets, beach, coffee shops, restaurants and other places or events. I'm grateful for this opportunity and I would like to thank the family for their warm hospitality and for making my stay so memorable.

I had an amazing time volunteering here and couldn't be more grateful. The host was really welcoming, organized and made sure I have everything I needed before starting the maintenance project.(mostly painting). +Fair hours and communication(:) +Def. recommended to any future volunteers.

Pavel and Qerida are great hosts and very lovely people! I felt very comfortable at their house. The space where I slept was nice and clean. The work was absolutely doable and pavel doesn't mind to explain and help you with it. It's all very chilled. The other backpackers were nice too and like a little family all together .we had a nice barbecue all of us. I really enjoyed my time there and would come back anytime. I can recommend this volounteering experience to everyone!:) thanks for having me!!!

Our experience at the home house was very enjoyable and enriching. Pavel is very patient and great at teaching how to use tools. Querida is very kind and fun to be around. They were very considerate of our needs and let us use their tiny house so we could be more comfortable. We're very happy to have met them.
