My experience at Carlo's house was incredible! He is an extremely affectionate and polite person, I felt very welcome from the first day!
The job is quite simple: keeping him company, keeping the house clean and organized, cooking for him, and also taking him for walks around the city, which will be a very good experience, since Carlo is a well-traveled person and knows a lot about the history and culture of various countries.
Syracuse is beautiful, close to the beach with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this experience to other travelers.

I arrived at this house thinking it would be just another volunteering experience, but it turned out to be so much more than that: it became another home and, above all, another family.

My experience with Carlo was wonderful; Carlo is a superb person: he welcomes with great kindness and is incredibly available! I learned a lot, I laughed, and I formed beautiful friendships with the other volunteers. It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have gone better. Carlo is an absolutely generous person: the first thing he told me was: 'this is your house, so feel free' - He cooks delicious and varied meals, he likes to have his espresso mid-morning, go for walks, especially after dinner on days with very hot weather. He knows how to enjoy life, he has traveled a lot and has an admirable will. I connected with other volunteers and for a few weeks we were family❤️. My experience was wonderful. I will always be grateful to Carlo, I hope to return soon.
