I had the most incredible week at the farm! Marlyn instantly made me feel right at home, and hosted me and the other 3 volunteers that week with much love. The volunteer work is very flexible, and you are able to choose to help on tasks that best suit your interests, at the time of day/week that suits. There is lots to do on the farm (I helped out with DIY/repairs), so you will never be short of things to help Marlyn out with. The food is delicious, with milk/yoghurt/cheese made fresh on the farm, and other organic vegetarian food sourced from local markets. I'll be back for sure!

I planned to stay for only 2 weeks but had to extend one week! I loved my experiance, working on the farm with Marlyn and other volenteers from all over. The work was a mixture of cooking, working with the animals and helping with improving spaces. There are many different tasks to do. I loved the mix of it all and connecting with all the people. Marlyn is a lovely host, she really cares for all her volenteers, the animals, cooks amazing food and is a great storyteller!! Thank you so much :)

We had a great time with Marlyn at the farm, we were warmly welcomed! Our tasks consisted of doing construction, feeding and taking care of animals and gardening. We quickly became independent in our tasks, which was nice! We also learned to make different kind of cheese, arepas de huevos and patacones! It was a pleasure to discuss with Marlyn, we learned so much about the Colombian and international culture, Marlyn has a lot of experience with volunteers and has amazing stories to share! Thank you Marlyn for everything!

My experience with Marlyn at the farm was excellent. She is a kind and welcoming host who creates a positive environment for volunteers. During my stay, I helped implement an edible oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) cultivation project, including substrate preparation and sharing cultivation techniques for sustainable food production. It was a rewarding experience that combined learning, teamwork, nature, and cultural exchange. I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity.

I couldn't have had a better experience on Marlyn's farm, I was there for just over 2 weeks - I enjoyed working with the animals and helping out on the farm, and felt I learnt a lot. I also was so happy to learn a lot of Spanish from the other volunteers who were so kind. Marlyn was unbelievably generous and I was given so much amazing food, as well as learning to cook a lot of new things. I especially loved the Arepas.
