Staying at the inn was a real immersion, Rose Braga is simply wonderful as a host and, beyond all, a chef, where I learned about healing through foods, teas and various exciting experiences! Staying at the Aldeia Hippie was an experience I will carry with me in life and use on my path.

I stayed only one week, and I feel I could have stayed longer. It's easy to reach Aldeia; there are vans/buses that drop you at the entrance to Arembpe or in the center of Camaçari (from the center to the village it's about a 20-minute walk). I had contact with the locals, I was very well received by everyone and participated in several programs that were arising. The meals at Casa Cria are great - always very abundant. The chef Rose is a sweetheart, sometimes stern, but a sweetheart. The volunteers I shared these days with also left the experience even more enjoyable.

At the inn I was able to learn a lot about Afro-Indigenous culture and food with Rose; I loved being able to reframe the foods and have a healthier view of what I ate. The tasks are easy and always explained and within the schedule. The village is another dimension where you meet incredible people and incredible stories, besides being able to see the turtles and live in a community with a freer spirit. I highly recommend you drop by there and leave good memories.

My experience at the inn was far more than a simple work-for-housing exchange. Rosi is an extraordinary host: welcoming, attentive, and a person with whom I learned so much. It wasn't just about completing tasks; it was a genuine and deep cultural exchange that made me feel part of the place. I fell in love with the energy of Aldeia Hippie, with the simplicity and the beauty of everything around. I leave with a full heart and with the absolute certainty that I will return. I recommend it to everyone who seeks a real experience, with purpose and a lot of human connection! ✨
