The Experience

Welcome... Friends call me Chepé. I'm a guy who moved from Sweden 3 years ago to live in direct contact with nature and its domestic and wild habitats. Nature is nurturing and healing. Life is lovely and simple here. People are kind and social. What I'm looking for is a company whom enjoys same lifestyle. Likes nature, plants and animals –and needless to say bonfire and philosophy. Here is ideal for those who wish to retreat and rest a while.

I filled up with a lot of positive energy while spending time with Josep. He is a great person, which made my stay exceed my expectations. The animals are really cute for those who enjoy them, and the tasks to be done are minimal, especially helping Josep with any little thing around the farm, whether helping him with cleaning or simple tasks, but the best part is learning from him because he is a great teacher of life.

Jericó is a wonderful place and the Finca is the best. Josef is a very kind and friendly person, he needs support with the tasks around the place, but as described, the activities are closely linked to what you feel drawn to do. You can harvest coffee, help with animal care, do house chores. My stay at this place was an excellent experience.

Jericó is a very lovely place, and Josef's Farm is too; I loved all his animals — they were companions more than animals, they’re like a big family, even the cows. Josef is always respectful and available.
The town is a bit far and uphill to reach without a vehicle, but Josef has no problem if we have to go, and along the way we could also stroll.
Perhaps, on my part, he expected more company outside the finca to go for a walk and such; he brought it up to me at one moment, only that I work online and had my tasks as well as those at the finca, and it wasn't understood. Despite that, it was always the best.
