I stayed in the lodge in mindo for almost 2 weeks and that is definitely enough time! I felt very welcomed when I arrived and mindo is a pretty cute small town with lots of outdoor activities to do. Even though, the volunteers sleep in the lodge 3 which is NOT the hostel that is shown on the pictures on Worldpackers and There is only breakfast included. I worked at the reception and I needed to be available the whole day if there comes a check in or not. So there was not really much time to do all the activities except walk thru the small town..

My time in Mindo was amazing, Paola and other other women were so welcoming. They helped explain everything I needed to do and we really worked as a team. You still have plenty of time to go out and do fun things around Mindo or just relax which the house is great for. I definitely recommend this for people looking to practice their Spanish, and hopefully I will be back :).

La experiencia en the lodge fue genial, simplemente tienes que hacer los check-ins y dar la bienvenida a los nuevos huespedes, moviendote entre los 3 edificios pero es un lindo paseo y no están muy lejos. Me sentí muy comodo en todo momento y la comunicación fue muy clara en todo momento, sintiéndome en casa desde el día uno!

Pasé 3 semanas de voluntariado en el alojamiento, Mindo. Me dieron habitación privada con baño, cocina, desayuno y lavandería. Ayudé 4 horas al día con check-ins en las 3 locaciones, fotografía y producción de cocina. Tienes 2 días libres. Prepárate para caminar bastante entre locaciones. No vi a Paola en persona pero la comunicación fue fluida todo el tiempo. El equipo de limpieza es súper amable y el ambiente tiene muy buena energía. Mindo es increíble: vi tucancillos, colibríes y mariposas cada día. Gracias por la experiencia.
