I stayed in the lodge in mindo for almost 2 weeks and that is definitely enough time! I felt very welcomed when I arrived and mindo is a pretty cute small town with lots of outdoor activities to do. Even though, the volunteers sleep in the lodge 3 which is NOT the hostel that is shown on the pictures on Worldpackers and There is only breakfast included. I worked at the reception and I needed to be available the whole day if there comes a check in or not. So there was not really much time to do all the activities except walk thru the small town..

My time in Mindo was amazing, Paola and other other women were so welcoming. They helped explain everything I needed to do and we really worked as a team. You still have plenty of time to go out and do fun things around Mindo or just relax which the house is great for. I definitely recommend this for people looking to practice their Spanish, and hopefully I will be back :).

The experience at the lodge was great, you just have to do the check-ins and welcome the new guests, moving between the three buildings, but it's a nice stroll and they're not far. I felt very comfortable at all times and the communication was very clear at all times, feeling at home since day one!

I spent three weeks volunteering at the accommodation, Mindo. I was given a private room with a bathroom, kitchen, breakfast, and laundry facilities. I helped four hours a day with check-ins at the three locations, photography, and kitchen production. You have two days off. Get ready to walk quite a bit between locations. I didn't see Paola in person, but the communication was fluid all the time. The cleaning team is super friendly and the atmosphere has very good energy. Mindo is incredible: I saw little toucans, hummingbirds, and butterflies every day. Thanks for the experience.
