The Experience

The Solomundo program at Kids Saving the Rainforest is looking for volunteers to help with gardening and maintaining green areas, caring for farm animals, assisting with construction and general maintenance tasks, and supporting composting and basic waste management. This is hands-on, outdoor work ideal for volunteers who enjoy physical tasks and want to contribute directly to a conservation project in Costa Rica.

Our experience at the shelter was truly incredible. All the work teams are always willing to help, and they welcomed us in a very warm way. You can really feel the family like environment and their genuine interest in making sure volunteers feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. The mission they carry out at the sanctuary is admirable. I want to give a special thank you to Gabriel and every team member of the shelter for giving us such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend volunteering here. It's an unique opportunity

It was an incredible experience, both Gabriel and the whole team were super responsive to us, they helped us from the very first moment with every uncertainty.
The mission they have at the sanctuary is something fantastic; the whole team works to drive it forward day by day.
I always recommend going; it will be a magnificent experience.

The Wildlife Rescue Shelter project is very interesting in what they do at the Sanctuary and Clinic, but unfortunately due to very poor organization and communication, this led to not respecting agreements on functions and hours, and there was created poor communication inside the "campus" and the environment became disharmonious and disrespectful. What a pity! In any case I thank those who supported!
