The experience with Rodrigo, José Luis and his family was very pleasant; the fact of being able to share with them so closely was wonderful, both in the tasks and in the leisure time.

The space is welcoming, it has everything a volunteer might need if he wants to connect with experiences outside the city

It was a unique experience of borderless hearts in Bolivia. As an Ecuadorian with my Danish partner, we had the opportunity to live like locals and share life with the host family. They taught us their values and commitment to community growth, as well as their recycling and composting system that helps nature. Sharing with them made our stay very pleasant. We were fortunate to attend English classes and assist the teacher at the school in a multi-grade classroom, helping the children strengthen their skills. Our hearts are grateful!

We felt very welcome when we arrived at the family's house in the countryside. We had our own little house, where we lived and worked with my brother Rodrigo. It was very pleasant living surrounded by nature and spending time with Rodrigo.

What mattered to them was that we help in the community, so we helped at the school, they invited us to the teacher's house, we helped at the restaurant, etc.

The family is charming. They invited us to eat and we would sit for hours playing games and enjoying ourselves.

We were very sad to leave, but we will return!

With love

A truly wonderful experience, very friendly and respectful people. I was able to meet the Santa Isabel community about an hour and a half from downtown Cochabamba, live an immersive experience in nature, life in the countryside, to see rivers, caves and trout farms; without a doubt I leave very happy to have been part of this community. Recommendations: come with warm clothing for rain, and be prepared for the adventure. Mr. José Luis is an excellent person, and along with his family you will feel like one of the family... I have nothing else to say but, thank you!...

My experience was neither bad nor good, but things aren’t clear and there’s a lot of important information that isn’t detailed.
I was welcomed very well; Rodrigo was an excellent host, but unfortunately before going to the place where the volunteering takes place I was informed of details that made me reject the proposal.. then they informed that I hadn’t shown up and that bothered me a bit.. luckily I filed a statement showing with photos and messages that I did attend and the reasons why I ended up rejecting the offer.. nothing bad to say, just please ask that you inform well where you’re going

José Luis replied

Sorry about the misunderstanding, Pippo. We didn't have the opportunity to meet you. When we found out that you were discouraged at the last moment, we were sad, waiting for you with the food, brother 😔. We're sure that if you had arrived you would have fallen in love with the place, and we wish you a good trip. Good luck always 🙌🏽
