The Experience

We’re creating a peaceful, spiritually minded vegetarian (mostly vegan) home in the beautiful countryside — just 3 minutes from the river, surrounded by forests and hiking trails, and about 20 minutes from the town of Duncan. 🕊️ This is more than a place to stay — it’s a chance to be part of a conscious, heart-centered household rooted in kindness, mindfulness, and compassion centered around the care of my mother, Ilumina.

My time at the home was amazing, it was my first ever solo travel experience and I couldn't have ask for a better one. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and people were so welcoming. On work free days Eliad made the effort to help me explore and experience parts of the island like the beach, forest, river, Cowichin bay as well as a day trip to Victoria. But everyday, whether it was spent at the house or out and about, was an adventure and I am so grateful I got to experience it. Thank you Eliad.

Eliad is a very ethical, responsible, kind, respectful person and knows how to assert himself. He sets boundaries clearly, sincerely, but also kindly. Very polite and friendly. He cared about my well-being and my learning. He took me on pleasant outings and was flexible regarding my need to leave a day earlier. He was interested in my English learning and was also interested in my language: Portuguese!
