Wonderful experience. Mamá África is family, it is community. I was warmly welcomed from the very first moment and always the best.
The tasks are simple and clear. You have time to do your shift and also to enjoy the common spaces, to share with beautiful people, delicious bites and lots of good vibes!! Very close to everything and above all surrounded by nature and close to beautiful trails💪🏽🥰 Highly recommend!!

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The team and the tasks were very well organized, and the communication with Gabriel was always very smooth. Always willing to help with anything that came up at the hostel, at any time.
The other volunteers ended up becoming my family during those weeks. The atmosphere at the hostel is calm and pleasant, ideal if you're looking for a place where you also have time for yourself. It's not a party hostel, and that was something I personally valued a lot.

My stay at Mamá África was beautiful, the Hostel is very well located, the facilities are very nice, Gabriel, the owner, is very pleasant and approachable when it comes to setting days and times for work, you can tell that he values the volunteers and strives to maintain a good relationship and a nice environment to live together. I would totally recommend the experience
