I liked the experience at the pousada, it was quite calm and welcoming. Mayra is a good host and very warm, we had a good relationship despite her speaking Portuguese and me Spanish. We were able to understand each other quite well!! Also, the hours agreed upon are met and it's a good place where you are welcomed, I recommend it!

It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. Mayra welcomed me very warmly, and I felt very welcome. She is a very organized and responsible person; she respected all our agreements and was flexible when necessary. The guesthouse is beautiful and pleasant, and the tasks are suitable for the duration of the work shift. I highly recommend it! :)

My experience as a volunteer at the inn was excellent! Mayra is very kind, welcoming and always willing to help. I had my own room and bathroom, which brought a lot of comfort and privacy. I worked only 4 hours per day, with light tasks such as cleaning and watering the plants. Everything went as agreed, in a calm and respectful environment. I highly recommend this experience for those who want to know Paraty while volunteering!

Mayra is a sweetheart! An excellent host, very communicative, attentive, polite, and concerned with my well-being during the time I stayed with her and with her son Ravi. The volunteer's room is at her house, at the back of the inn, and only the volunteer stays there (a room with a private bathroom). The tasks at the inn were easy: cleaning the rooms and common areas, watering the plants, and keeping things organized; it’s a small inn, so easy to keep clean and do everything necessary. Mayra lent me her bike so I could ride around the city, which is pretty cool. I really enjoyed the experience.
