João was the best. Just the best host I've ever met. Understanding, funny, helpful. He really does care about the people, not only the work done. I hope you all the best and I hope to return one day, after Super El Niño is Super El Muerto

João was a find. He already became a friend. The grounds of the estate are beautiful with a nice river, bridge, swimming area, local tracks and so much more. The vibe of the house was quite nice, a lot of talking, music and sharing. THE DOGS are perfect, Juninho and Luna are great local guides and are always looking for someone to pet them. As been a small land in the , the relation with the neighbors was a nice addition too, with kind and nice people to help. The work was fine, we did house painting, cleaning, and basic maintenance. Overall, a great experience that I super recommend.

João is truly an amazing person. He welcomed me with good vibes and kindness. Hes well balanced between getting work done and having a good time. There’s so many positives I could give João but to put it simply if your thinking about going you should. It’s an incredible experience which I throughly enjoyed and will be returning to! Thank you João 🙌

Staying at the camping was truly a highlight experience! João puts off an incredible vibe as a host; he's accommodating, friendly, and organized/detailed. If you have any questions there's a good chance he's already thought of it! There's a lot to learn from the tasks he's working on at the farm to build his vision. It's easy to work with him as he's very passionate and way more concerned about sharing knowledge than whether or not you know how to build stuff! Everything can be learned at the farm, including how to play Catan!! We had so much fun here and a really quality time 💟 kiss to Luna

It was my first Worldpackers volunteer and Joao definitely made me want to do more and especially go back to him! I really liked his openness, humour and drive to make this project work. You can really feel that it means alot to him and that giving up is no option. Perfect combination of working and also playing games or da movie night. Ofcourse his two dogs were wonderfull two, such characters hehehe. I liked the construction and woodwork but I think if you want to do more gardening you should tell and ask him ifhe has enough work to do that (we were there in winter). I liked it alot :)
