Andrea and Elmer were great hosts. I really learned a lot about sustainable farming on their small farm. The work was very reasonable and they were very kind and thoughtful hosts!

Nice new constructed house, with an emerging permaculture garden. Many rules. One of the host, the husband of Andrea has no emotional balance, bad character, treats you like a servant and not as a collaborator or volunteer for the project, which is a basic and important thing for experiences like this. Nevertheless every experience is different.

Andrea replied

The rules are to protect the chickens from the fox, three doors has always to be closed. Also the tubes in the house are small so you can’t throw toiletpaper in the toilet. Edu seemed to us quite strange and my husband had to tell him what to do, and sometimes you don’t want to discuss with the people if you want to grow your food. For me Edu is like an Autist trapped in an astrological cage.
We had no Internet for one day so Edu left earlier, sometimes people don’t fit together

Andrea was an absolutely amazing hostess who took me in and made me feel at home. Her garden is vibrant and flourishing, due to her care for the land and all of the living things upon it. As a volunteer, my time and energy was very respected and I was given lots of privacy. The food was delicious and healthy, making me always feel cared for. Andrea's animals are the absolute sweetest and a joy to be around. Come prepared with books and crafts for the calming oasis that is bilbil e palloi.

Absolutely amazing experience! Bilbil & Palloi is a cozy family guesthouse and a sustainable permaculture farm where I had a truly perfect time. The hosts are incredibly kind and generous, offering much more than I could ever expect — including two delicious and healthy meals a day, and a huge private room with its own bathroom. It's literally a small piece of paradise! I got to help with the olive harvest, do some garden maintenance, and create content for this special place. The balance between volunteering hours and free time was just perfect. Already missing everything about it!
