The Experience

We are a family business of five houses and a Brunch Bar . We would appriciate some help in the bar , doing the drinks. It means we need someone to do coffees and some juices. Coffees and simple types like Cappuccino,Americano, chocolate and also iced coffees like Iced Latte , iced americano etc. The juices we do are freshly squeezed orange juice, lemonade, and vegetables. Shifts are morning 08:30 to 14. 00 and evening 14.00 to 19:30

This was my first volunteering experience, and I was so lucky to meet such wonderful people. Nikki and Lambi are kind and professional hosts who always treated me like family. They regularly checked if I was comfortable and actively helped solve any problems. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the other volunteers were warm and friendly. Chef Nexhi always prepared amazing meals! The morning shift usually ends around 3 p.m., so you can go swimming at Livadh Beach, right in front of the hotel. It's such a lovely place, and I would love to come back someday.

The hotel is a lovely family run cafe that relies on volunteers for good, quick service. It can be busy during the summer, so you need to be able to work hard and fast! the food is amazing! it was difficult to organise hang outs with the other volunteers as we would work opposite shifts. It is a family business and the hosts communicate very directly. I am happy to be in contact with anyone who is considering volunteering here :)

My time at Toneas was lovely. Niki, Lambi and Marietta were such welcoming hosts, they really make you feel like family. Working hours and meals were respected (food is incredible!). It was also a great way to meet new travellers through the customers and you are staying directly on the beach!\nWill definitely come back to Livadi one day :)

I was lucky to spend 3 months at toneas working as a waitress and I'm very thankful for this amazing opportunity. The location is perfect, literally in front of the beach, Livadhi beach is not in the center and also more quiet depending on the month, so u should expect this. I met amazing people, learn more about the culture and practice and learned different skills. I feel like now I have a family in Himare and I cannot wait to be back :) thank you so much Niki and Lambi for everything!

I absolutely loved volunteering at Toneas the hotel. Nicki and Lambi were nothing but kind and welcoming throughout my month volunteering. They were always making sure we had enough to eat, and the working hours were clear. The location is the selling point, as you wake up and get to the beach is less than a minute. I miss it already, and hope to be back, even if it's just for a visit ❤️
