The Experience

We are a group of 3 families who share a plot of land on the South Devon Coastline, just walking distance from its beautiful beaches. We are looking for help maintaining the land and introducing new projects that maximise the wildlife in the area. This might include creating wildflower meadow, vegetable beds, strimming bracken and brambles, planting trees, helping with management of the lake, and general carpentry jobs in and around our homes.

Overall, my stay in the farm was an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, making me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I improved my English, learned useful gardening and maintenance skills, and enjoyed authentic British culture. The beautiful natural surroundings, flexible schedule, and friendly atmosphere made every day enjoyable. I leave with great memories, valuable experiences, and a deep appreciation for the people and the area. I would definitely recommend this stay to others.

I had a wonderful experience in the farm. The work was varied and involved helping with various projects around the property. The families were amazing people who made us feel at home from the very beginning. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience rural life in Devon, surrounded by beautiful countryside, nature and the sea. I met wonderful people and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a genuine cultural exchange.
