What can I say? It might be the most meaning experience of my life. As a young traveler who only starting her journey, Simon really opened my eyes to what is possible in life. I loved every conversation we had. He told me stories about traveling by bus from London to India and even gave me a book he wrote. I would read it and then come back to him with a million questions. I loved that so much. The work hardly felt like work. I felt more like a guest welcomed into Simon's way of life. Being here gave me a chance to try naturism at the beach for the first time too and I loved it so, so much!

There's not much work to do at all so you can spend your time how you like; exploring the island and its beaches, chilling out in camp or hanging with Simon. Loved the off grid living :)

Simon is an amazing host! He is absolutely helpful, friendly, for me he's the kind of person who gives you a lot to think about and I think he really left a big impression on me. He knows the area incredibly well, and loves sharing that knowledge, which made every conversation with him so interesting. Spending time with him, whether chatting or going on hikes, felt less like staying with a host and more like hanging out with a friend. His dog Paddy is absolutely adorable! I can absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend Simon to anyone looking for a meaningful and a bit different experience. 🇬🇷🙏

I ended up camping most of the time on the beach! Kastri is beautiful but I found it to be a bit more isolated than I was comfortable with. Transportation to and from the beach is limited but possible due to a couple of bus times and the chances to bike or hitchhike, but it is around an 1-1 1/2 hike. I'm grateful for the experience to come to the camping! Truly a magical place :)
