The Experience

We work with trunks, branches and roots without felling trees🌳; we reuse wood to create furniture, sculptures and crafts in a sustainable way. We cultivate plantain, cassava, coffee, cacao, pineapple, sugarcane, chonta, guayusa, ayahuasca and tobacco, and transform some products. The experience promotes closer contact with the local community through coexistence, community activities, and cultural exchange. The lodging is in a roofed tent⛺.

Had an amazing stay with Don Oswaldo and his family! The property is surrounded by surrealy beautiful nature, which helped me understand the connection between locals and the land. The work was very varied but never hard, the hosts were extremely welcoming and open to share about their way of life, Ecuador and their culture. Would definitely recommend especially if you speak a little Spanish so you can make the most of the time here!

I had an amazing experience with Oswaldo and his family, I can't thank them enough. They treated me like a family member and brought me on many adventures. The work was varied and I enjoyed it, I wish I could have done more for this family before leaving. An authentic experience meeting locals, teaching English, and working in the Jungle.

An unforgettable experience, Don Oswaldo and his family, and the people who work with him, are exceptional, very attentive and welcoming, they make you feel like a member of the family, volunteering allowed me to get to know native culture up close and live with the local people, and the work is not tiring.

It was a very lovely volunteering experience, full of nature and a lot of warmth.\nD.Brito is an artist; he creates lovely works and many ideas to put into practice.\nIf you're looking for a true immersion in the local culture, that place is the ideal spot.\nI always felt at home; I learned a lot about how to live differently from the way I am used to :)\nThank you for everything, family 🤍
