My stay at the organization Welfare was wonderful and inspiring, I have never been to a shelter before so it took some time for me to adjust but was loving the work once i got used to it :) The staff are super nice and helpful, they all have so much love and care for the dogs! I learned a lot from them and I will miss them and the lovely animals.

My experience was amazing and I truly felt at home from the very beginning. I met wonderful, kind and welcoming people, had a cozy private room, and shared many lovely moments together, chatting and having meals. Virginia is an amazing host: caring, supportive and always willing to help with anything I needed. Having a scooter available also gave me the freedom to explore the island, making this experience the perfect balance between contributing to a meaningful social project and enjoying my free time. I'm really grateful for everything and would recommend this project to future volunteers!

It couldn’t been better. The staff helped with pick up & drop off from the pier & were always there whenever I needed anything. The experience with the dogs was amazing I slept next to Pumpui 🥰 I had a private room, while still enjoying the company of the Thais & European volunteers, so I never felt lonely.
Mo, Parn, & Au were kind, patient, respectful & welcoming. Special thanks to Virginia for all her help, teaching me about the dogs & always being available. For every dog lover, this is a must-try experience in Koh-Chang, I hope every dog in the shelter finds a loving home.

My experience here was truly wonderful. Mo is always attentive to anything you might need and is happy to teach and guide you with a positive attitude. It's also a great opportunity to share the experience with volunteers from all over the world, all with a common goal: taking care of these lovely dogs, who really only ask for one thing — love.

My experience was very nice, I expected to do something else but after all I helped to feed the street dogs. The team was lovely, the task was easy but meaningful, and they are a super generous host, from the house to the motorbike they have provided me with everything I could have possibly need. The organisation is really committed to make the life of the dogs better, which was nice to see. Thank you!
