Sant Jordi Hostels Lisbon
What are we offering you is an opportunity to learn about the daily routines of a hostel in a cool environment, a bed (bunk bed), free laundry and wi-fi.
What we need from you is some hours of help per day. This includes bed making, laundry, breakfast, bartending, and keep the hostel organized and clean.
We are a very cool Hostel and our staff is very friendly. Located in the heart of Lisbon, just 400 meters from Anjos metro station, close to the busy Avenida Almirante Reis. The stop of the mythical electric nr 28 is just in front of our place. ;)

Buena experiencia en sant jordi el hostel como tal es muy lindo pero el cuarto de voluntarios tiene mucho moho y snails, entonces tienen que mejorar eso, la mayoría de el staff son muy respetuosos, pero hay una persona que ni te mira a la cara para saludar y te excluye, en fin, en general estuvo bien quitando esos temas, el lugar es amplio y lindo puedes conseguir comida a muy buen precio y tienes buenos miradores cerca, si lo recomiendo, si tienes preguntas puedes escribirme.

So the Staff there was the best I could imagine. Everyone is like a best friend to me, also the tasks are very okay, and you will have more than enough free time. And I really enjoyed the Hispanic people at the bar, they really know how to party.

This place is special and I had an amazing time over there. Immediately after arriving, I felt very welcome thanks to my fellow volunteers and superhost Luiza. Work consists of different types of shifts, which gives a nice variety. Housekeeping is easy when you can work with charming people such as Vanessa and Helen. I got my first taste of bartending at the hostel's own bar, learning valuable skills from bartender Thiago. But the most difficult task for me was having to walk out the front door at the end of my stay. All in all, my experience was so much better than I could've ever imagined.

Wow what an amazing experience! Honestly can’t say enough amazing things about this hostel and the workers there. The hostel is beautiful and very clean, the hours and shifts are respected and given to you well in advance so you can plan your activities around Lisbon, and the workers are all super friendly. Lúzia and Tiago at the bar are amazing and treat everyone like friends, they will give/show you places around the city and tips for what to see and where to go. Only bad thing about it is it will ruin other hostels for you because I can’t see any other place being better! Thank you!

My time at Sant Jordi's was amazing! Tasks were communicated clearly, the work was consistent, and the grounds are so nice. Luiza is an amazing host who will always take requests into account and make sure the volunteers feel at home. The rest of the staff is very kind as well, but it helps a lot if you speak some spanish. The location is great and I had plenty of time to explore the greater area. The team of volunteers felt like a family by the end of my time, and I've made some lasting friendships here. This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one!
