Staying on the farm was an unforgettable experience. I felt incredibly welcomed by Elena and our work agreement was very fair. My only regret was not learning more italian before coming to the farm. The language barrier sometimes made it a bit hard to communicate.

From my first contact with host Elena, I realized she was a friendly person, and this was confirmed when she greeted me with a warm hug. She asked about what I wanted to do at the host and wanted for suggestions for farm projects. Those were days of hard work in intense heat. I learned about farm life and always gave my best in the activities I did there. Some things weren't as I expected, so I talked a lot with Elena, we understood each other, and it was really good.

The host was my first Worldpacker's experience and I hope it won't be my last. The farm is in a beautiful, remote location surrounded by nature and animals (I miss the sheep already). Elena has put so much love and effort into this project and I'm grateful to have been a part of it. She encouraged me to explore the town and nearby cities in my free time and introduced me to some amazing friends. Work can be repetitive but is fair, and Elena is open to customizing it to your interests. I'd recommend knowing at least beginner Italian as communication regarding work was difficult at times.

Our experience was very different from what the listing offered. There were constant communication problems that led to misunderstandings and, on several occasions, we were treated in a way that made us feel very uncomfortable. Additionally, the listing did not match reality: there was no internet or cell signal, there were no yoga or language classes, and the accommodation consisted of common spaces, not a private room. The property was also much more isolated than we expected. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience.

Our experience did not match what was published on the profile. There was no Wi-Fi or mobile signal. Two bicycles were offered to go to the village, but only one worked and the farm is far away. There were also no rooms for volunteers: we slept in common areas, with no privacy. There were also several communication problems, both due to the language barrier (Spanish and English were indicated but not followed) and due to the lack of clear explanations about the tasks and the expectations. Additionally, the profile mentioned yoga and language classes, but they were never held.
