CONVENTO SAN ROQUE
We are a very special place: a meticulously preserved 17th-century convent. Located in a medieval village and surrounded by nature, it also has good access to the city center, which makes it an ideal location. The surroundings are quiet; we host few guests, only 20 rooms, and the pace of the place has a unique soul.
The team is young, composed of great professionals in the field; some are locals and others come from farther away, but all bring significant human value to the team. As the host, I ensure they have what they need to work in good conditions, and thus the guest feels comfortable during their stay.
Volunteers have a private room, with a bathroom and shower in the room, and free access. There are simple rules of conduct, such as keeping quiet at night (no parties, no noise, etc.), cordial coexistence, camaraderie, and taking care of the facilities (it's a very old building, it must be protected).
We can also provide meals, with breakfast and a varied menu, as we are a restaurant, and we can adapt if they have any needs.
For us, the volunteer is a fellow coworker; both the team and I, as manager and host, seek full trust and a good atmosphere.
