My first volunteering experience was excellent. IƱaki is a genius and is always 100% attentive to the volunteer, giving flexibility in the schedules and explaining everything in detail. The work team is also wonderful, always trying to make you feel comfortable and providing you with all the help possible. Regarding the tasks; they are situational, they depend a lot on the hotel's situation, whether there are events or not, etc. The main thing is to be attentive and want to help, thus one feels useful during the stay. I really enjoyed the volunteering experience. The place is extremely peaceful and the team welcomed me warmly from day one. The tasks are simple. A small detail to improve would be the description of the duties in the profile, since customer service plays a secondary role to the rest of the activities. Still, Iām leaving with a fantastic memory and I would totally recommend it.

Beautiful experience at the hotel the hotel in the small town of Balmaseda. IƱaki is an excellent host, always attentive to the volunteers. I highly recommend hiking in the surroundings and visiting the Hermitage of the hotel SebastiƔn and the hotel that has very beautiful views. It is also very well connected to Bilbao; you have buses all day.
