My experience at the campsite was very special. I had incredible connections, met very nice people and I was able to truly live the place's proposition, with time to enjoy the environment and also calmly structure the work I went to develop there.
These were days of great moments, exchanges, conversations, and experiences that I will carry with me. I am very grateful for the reception, for the warmth, and for everything I lived at the campsite.
It was an experience that was worth it.

Negative experience in Imbassaí. Place infested with bugs: on the first night I removed over 20 ticks from my body. We informed them and there was no solution. They did not provide the breakfast agreed nor was there room for dialogue. We completed the 5 days of volunteering but on Friday they demanded that we work until 11 p.m. and we did. Saturday they wanted the same; when we refused they kicked us out at 6 p.m. with mistreatment, saying that I was ill and that I was looking for "a dad to take care of me and cook for me"... for not agreeing to work for free again. They left us with nowhere to sleep and did not cover any of the expenses we had for staying in an unhealthy place.

The exchange didn't happen; they were looking for a place to sleep for free while they wandered… which is not the platform's aim. Therefore I invited them to pay the nightly rate (as guests) or to leave. They chose to run away…

An interesting project, you can see the work with your own hands—from cooking to the construction of the cabins. I had the opportunity to help him with one of them, painting the roof. Keeping the spaces clean and taking out the trash, organizing the kitchen. On Fridays and Saturdays the restaurant opens. That was the most exhausting and unexpected part for me since I had never done it before, and it can be a bit stressful if you're not used to doing things quickly.
David was always patient in telling me how to do things and even in correcting my mistakes. May the project continue to grow :)

This is one of those places that are difficult to explain, because what stays isn't just what happened, but what we felt. No the camping I allowed myself to experience new things, I met amazing people and had experiences that really moved me. I am very grateful to Davi for all his patience and for giving me the freedom to be, to try and learn. It was a very special passage in my life. This place has won my heart.
